A month away from releasing new album Talk Memory, BADBADNOTGOOD have shared both a new song and tour dates for 2021 and 2022.

"Beside April," which features drummer/producer Karriem Riggins and Brazilian composer Arthur Verocai, is the latest to arrive from the album, complete with an accompanying video from director Camille Summers-Valli you can view below.

Summers-Valli's visuals were inspired by 1878's The Horse in Motion, some real-time chronophotography that proved foundational in the development of motion pictures. The director shared further thoughts on the "Beside April" video as follows:

There was really special energy around this video. The band wanted to do something with horses and equestrians. That's where this begun. Funnily enough, I am petrified of horses. But it felt like a good way to overcome my fears. Subconsciously through a process of reading, finding references and discussing with my team, I started to piece together the puzzle of what this video could be. We shot this in Georgia; where the casting was incredible. The horse also was wonderful. So strong and majestic, we just wanted to do this beautiful creature justice. The magic aligned, so many great hard working people pulled this video together.

BADBADNOTGOOD will begin a run of 2021 and 2022 tour dates with nine stops in Canada. Dates in Calgary, Edmonton, WInnipeg, Victoria, Vancouver, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec City and Toronto have all been set for December.

Tickets go on sale September 17 at 10 a.m. local time, while further details on a presale can be found through BBNG's official website.

As previously reported, Talk Memory arrives October 8 through XL Recordings, and also features Terrace MartinLaraaji and Brandee Younger. It follows the group's acclaimed album IV, which landed among Exclaim!'s Top 15 Soul and R&B albums of 2016.
